Whether you’re a new player or have multiple decks you’ve carefully curated,

you’re welcome to join one of our open play nights or register for a tournament. Either way, here are some of our favorite resources for playing Magic: The Gathering.

New to the game or just haven’t played in a while? No problem! We’ve gathered some of our favorite resources to help you feel more comfortable when you want to join us in person.

There tends to be a lot of Commander style played here at Rapid Spin, but you’ll also see Draft Night and eCDH played as well. 

❋ Things to Know

We’ve worked hard to build a community of people who love playing and enjoy being around other players. 

❋ What's NOT Allowed

Banned cards aren’t the only things not welcome. We do not tolerate verbal abuse towards other players, talking over people, or bullying.

Basically, play nice. 

Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.

Learning the Basics of Magic: The Gathering

Magic: The Gathering is made by Wizards of the Coast, and they have a pretty fantastic tutorial on the basic elements of gameplay. Why reinvent the wheel?

How It Works

  • Browse our upcoming events to find the one that feels right for you. We host events year-round in all different locations and climates.

  • Sign up and pay all required fees to reserve your spot. If plans change, you can cancel up to 14 days before the retreat start to receive a 50% refund.

  • After booking, we'll send you a Welcome Packet with everything you need to know—detailed schedules, packing list recommendations, add-ons to consider, and more.

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.

  • Now all that's left to do is pack your bags and get excited for your new adventure.
